Become a Meals on Wheels Community Ambassador
Help strengthen support for older adults in your community!
We are now accepting applications for Volunteer Community Ambassadors in:
Albany • Brownsville • Corvallis • Lebanon • Lincoln City • Mill City • Newport • Sweet Home • Siletz • Toledo • Waldport
What Does a Community Ambassador Do?
- Visit your local Meals on Wheels site at least once a month to stay connected with the program
- Serve as a community liaison, keeping neighbors informed about Meals on Wheels services
- Attend local events, club meetings, and community gatherings to share information
- Help strengthen volunteer recruitment and build local partnerships
- Provide monthly updates to the Meals on Wheels Advisory Council
What We Provide:
- Training and outreach materials
- Ongoing support from Meals on Wheels staff
- A meaningful opportunity to support older adults in your community
Requirements:
- Complete a volunteer application
- Pass a background check
